Support and Engage with Your Community
We select special public service projects for our congregation throughout the year, and other projects are active on an ongoing basis. They include local, national, and international efforts, as well as age-specific and gender areas, traditional projects, recycling, and new avenues. Our goal is to encourage our congregation to connect with their community and those in need through events, projects, and opportunities for spiritual growth.
Assist structured organizations with a history of helping others.
Share time, fellowship, and donated offerings with countless individuals in need.
Collaborate with others to make a lasting, positive impact on underserved communities.
What You Can Expect from Our Spiritual Social Action Program
We always accept and appreciate donations to our Little Free Pantry, Pet Pantry, and Free Library. Our congregation and community members are encouraged to donate nonperishable food, paper products, cleaning supplies, personal care items, pet supplies, and books in the wire baskets in our café.
Our congregation undertakes several projects each and every year. In the past, we’ve coordinated collections of donations for numerous groups including the NE AIDS Project, the Salvation Army, the Siena Francis House, the Holy Family Church, Sorenson Residential and Assisted Living, the Douglas County Health Center, Mission for All Nations, Samaritan’s Purse, Mystic Fest, Mozambique orphans, and St. Joseph Villa Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Your Community Is Here
We are composed of open-minded individuals from countless walks of life. You are sure to discover and experience those of all faiths in our congregation.
